During his triumphant shareholder meeting, Elon Musk revealed a tantalizing glimpse of Tesla’s future lineup, featuring three shrouded mystery vehicles. This was one more than he hinted at during the Master Plan Part 3 event last year.
In a slide displaying Tesla’s current lineup—Models S, X, 3, Y, the Tesla Semi, and Cybertruck—three covered vehicles stood out, sparking curiosity and speculation.
“Obviously we’ve got some new products that we’re working on under the covers,” Musk said. “I think these are going to be pretty special.”
And that was all he shared. Despite being in high spirits after shareholders approved his massive $50 billion compensation package, Musk remained tight-lipped about the new vehicles.
So, what could these mystery vehicles be? Here are a few wild speculations:
- Compact Car: Given Tesla’s mission to make electric vehicles accessible to more people, one of these could be a smaller, more affordable compact car aimed at urban markets.
- Robo-Taxi: Musk has often spoken about Tesla’s future in autonomous driving. A dedicated robo-taxi could be in the works, designed specifically for autonomous ride-sharing services.
- Electric Van: With the growing demand for electric commercial vehicles, Tesla might be developing an electric van for deliveries or even a passenger version for urban transport.
- Hypercar: Perhaps Tesla is working on a high-performance hypercar that pushes the boundaries of speed and technology, building on the legacy of the Roadster.
- All-Terrain Vehicle: Given the popularity of SUVs and the adventurous spirit of the Cybertruck, an all-terrain electric vehicle could be another exciting possibility.
While these are just speculations, one thing is certain: Tesla continues to innovate and surprise the automotive world. Only time will tell what these mysterious new vehicles turn out to be.
